Due to the lack of legal provisions, detailed certificates are the only way to determine the quality of lights and LEDs on a flawless basis and to assert possible warranty claims in the event of damage.
The LIGHT ON certificates are based on exacting tests and measurements. For this purpose the lighting measurements are created, the photometric data of LED lights are determined, and manufacturer details are checked for their precision.

The following values are determined when the lights are in a cold and warm condition:

  • Light current
  • Light intensity
  • Output
  • Efficiency
  • Spectral distribution
  • Colour reproduction value
  • Sinus contamination
  • Reflected beam angle

LIGHT ON also applies this testing process during the compilation of expert reports for defective lights or when determining damage to objects and buildings which has been caused by light (excessive infra-red impairment or UV radiation).
