The simple Catholic church in Ebmatingen was built at the end of the 1980s. LIGHT ON was commissioned to modernise the lighting system. For budget reasons, LIGHT ON left the existing luminaire positions but used special RMJ reflectors whose beam angle can be specifically adjusted to the widely varying ceiling heights. The resulting soft, glare-free light can be individually adapted to the conditions during the day or at night. Supplementary indirect lighting bathes the room in a soft, pleasant glow. The new lighting system is operated via a simple, user-friendly control system into which additional luminaires – such as those for the planned exterior lighting or the large wall window in the altar area – can be easily integrated.
