REFORMED CHURCH BELP
For the renovation of the lighting in the nave of the historic Protestant Reformed Church in Belp, the position of the lighting fixtures was predetermined by those of the existing luminaires. Also, the historical shape of the pendant luminaires could not be adapted – shape and appearance had to be maintained.
LIGHT ON built proven LED technology into a new, yet identically shaped hanging luminaire. In the upper part of the cylinder, additional lighting technology was integrated to create a strong vertical illumination to show off the beautiful wall paintings to their best advantage. Indirect light was deliberately avoided here.
In the chapel, a special technique was chosen for the indirect lighting, which allows homogeneous illumination of the cross vault. In addition, movable miniature luminaires were used under the gallery. The warm light can be dimmed without flickering and allows the church to shine in new splendour.
