The interior design, with its attractive wooden finish, required a lighting concept which was able to underpin the warm atmosphere. According to the principle of light instead of lamps, LIGHT ON used high quality LED strip lights with a high colour reproduction index and 12 V halogen lamps as ceiling lights. In the area of the 6 metres high gallery for old tools, LED strips which are fitted in special profiles on both sides provide brilliant light. In the strips, homogeneous LEDs with a high IP protection level which were installed in the niches create an exclusive atmosphere. Considerable attention was paid to ensuring a glare-free mirror lighting. The building owner’s old, decorative wall lights were completely removed, converted to halogen, and refitted.
