For the 48 metre luxury yacht, LIGHT ON developed a lighting concept which had to be integrated in the ceiling due to the limited roof height. To ensure homogeneous basic lighting, the spotlights were installed so that only the light itself is visible. It is distributed via the walls which function as additional reflectors and ensure that the entire room is brightened diffusively. The window niches which are illuminated with LED technology also set highlights. One of the highlights in the interior of the yacht is the golden staircase, the effect of which is intensified due to the illumination with the Xenon lamps and streaks of light. Xenon lamps which are fitted under the furniture give it a floating appearance. For energy reasons, LED technology was used for the exterior illumination of the Arethusa.
